1. Input: The participant types their message on a keyboard.
2. Transformation: The text is instantly encrypted into a unique pixel pattern using our custom JPG generator.
3. Subversion: This pixelated, critical message is then overlayed onto an "algorithm-friendly" image—specifically, an image of a girl conforming to Western beauty standards—and automatically posted to our dedicated Instagram profile.

Our Instagram profile serves as the public, evolving archive of the exhibition. Each post documents a message written by a participant, demonstrating how critical discourse is camouflaged within the very aesthetic the algorithm prioritizes.

Intent & Impact: freedom of speech, resistance, and visibility

1. Heightened Awareness: The process exposes the mechanics of algorithmic censorship, explicitly highlighting the type of imagery (e.g., women fitting Western beauty standards) that gains undeserved promotional priority.
2. Strategic Subversion: We use the platform's own visibility systems to make marginalized voices heard. By integrating critical messages with algorithm-friendly visuals, we bypass suppression and increase the reach of dissenting ideas.
3. Empowerment and Reclamation: The tool gives people a tangible way to resist algorithmic control, reclaiming social media as a public sphere for genuine dialogue, and amplifying perspectives that are often silenced.
