The experience of going through the door is a moment of transition, change, a rite of passage. It functions as a portal. Installation is a multidimensional shadow portal that spins and changes position. The frames are showing frozen movement of a human opening door in different ways. We placed our installation in the corridor- so that people passing by have to go through it which in effect moves the frames.
